Dr. Gregory P. Vogt earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland, OH, in 2001. He then completed a two year surgical residency training program at the St. Louis VA Hospital in June of 2003. In addition to his surgical training at the St. Louis VA, Dr. Vogt also had a large exposure to podiatric surgery through training at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, MD. Dr. Vogt then joined Foot and Ankle Specialists, P.C. in July of 2003.
Dr. Vogt has a large interest in diabetic foot care, being a juvenile diabetic himself since age 12. He received a large amount of exposure to the diabetic patient during his residency at the St. Louis VA Hospital and has also attended lectures on diabetic foot care at renowned facilities such as the Cleveland Clinic Foundation.
Dr. Vogt is a member of the American Board of Foot and Ankle surgery. He is also a fellow of the American College of Foot & Ankle Surgeons. He is active with the Bedford Business Association and serves as a trustee. Dr. Vogt has hospital privileges at Promedica Monroe Regional Hospital as a member of the department of surgery and also has privileges at the Surgical Institute of Monroe.
Dr. Vogt was born and raised in Corning, NY. He then attended the Pennsylvania State University from 1993-1997, receiving a B.S. in Biology. He is married to his wife Christine and currently lives in Monroe. Dr. Vogt loves camping and the outdoors, receiving the Eagle Scout Award as a child and also enjoys watching college football.
